Default Delete Phone Logs on 7100t

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know how to clear ALL of the phone logs on the 7100t? The handheld saves many more phone logs than those that show up on the phone page. Blackberry Enterprise Activation takes a long time after a software upgrade if there are hundreds of phone logs to restore. The only way that I've found is to delete them all from the phone page, reboot the handheld, delete them all again, and go through that cycle until no more show up after a reboot. I was told I could delete them using the advanced backup feature on the desktop manager but "phone logs" is faded and won't clear from that page. I have 4.0.2 software and am on BES. Can anyone help?

Go to Messages and open it
click the track wheel
scroll down to view folders and select it
scroll to Phone Call Logs and select it
when Phone Call Logs opens click the track wheel and select delete prior
All phone call logs prior to the one highlighted will be deleted

...and this will delete all, including logs that have purged from the list but are still saved deep in the handheld? I've cleared mine already--the hard way, but want to send this out to my users who trust what I say to be right...little do they know!!!

dsconnell if only you had posted this yesterday. I deleted 700 calls one at a time. I have a lot to learn.

Superb info guys, here's a frequent scenario i have at work. A user loses or breaks there Blackberry, we get a new one in and have to activate it. The activation takes a long time to activate as the Blackberrry backs up Phone Logs to the server and they have to be sync'ed back. Is it possible to delete just the Phone Call Logs from the server ? and keep everything else intact. At the moment 5150 of 10557 call logs plus activation has taken over 3 1/2 hours plus, and is only 68% through completion and this is being activated via a USB cable. Any suggestions
