Default A Few Questions

Please Login to Remove!

1. Currently my battyery is not lasting very long. I left my phone on for about 8 hours straight, only used it for 3 calls and maybe 6 text messages max. I took it out of my pocket after 8 hours to find 10% battery left. Is there anything I can do to preserve battery life besides simply turning the phone off?

2. I downloaded the new update and now my SMS/MMS icon disappeared from my menu screen, is there a way to get it back?

Thanks!

Do you possibly have any programs running in the background? You can push and hold the BB Key and that will show you what is running.

Go into messages>options>general options>SMS and email inboxes - Check and make sure its not on combined.

I have a few things running (such as internet) How do I close them? I went to the application and hit close, however it still shows up when I hold the BB key.

If your hold the BB menu button you should see the phone, home, messages folder, and globe (Browser). Those should always be there. Anything else should be closed.
