When receiving some MMS messages, my BB Storm 9530 does not recognise that the number belongs to a contact in my contacts list. If I receive an SMS from the same contact, it will show the contact name received from, however does not show contact name when receiving an MMS.

This only happens with some MMS messages. Ive done a battery pull and tried saving the contact name again but no results. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

there must be something different about how the number is stored. are code vs. no area code etc.

Yea ive worked out that it only recognises the names when the number is received with a plus in front ie +61.... (61 Being the australian country code) as opposed to no plus in front of the number ie 61.... Also if i put the 61 number in the contact's number field it wont recognise it. If i put the 61 number in the contacts email field, it will then recognise the contact. If i put the +61 number in a contacts number field it will recognise it.

So it treating the MMS as an email. Dont know why some numbers are received showing the + in front and some not.
