Default BES and BIS email trouble

Please Login to Remove!

I'm having a strange issue with my email. I am on a BES server, but I am also getting my personal POP3 mail in a separate folder with BIS.

Until 2 days ago, I was receiving my personal emails in the separate folder (as well as in the messages folder) and I was able to send and receive.

Now, I receive all my mail only in my Messages folder. I've tried toggling combined and separate folders. I also can not send email from my personal account. BES is working perfectly fine. I have done a hard reset with a battery pull and tried re-syncing with DM. Still no luck. I did just come back into the country, but I had the wireless turned off the entire time I was overseas.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm using a Storm with 4.7.0.75

Go into setup>email> and re-enter your password. If done correctly you will get an e-mail in your BIS folder pretty much immediately saying "you should start receiving email in 20 minutes"...

For some reason my device lost the password a week or so ago and I was getting the same issue, re-sync'd and I am good to go.

I would also go into your BIS account and re-send service books....

Thumbs up

Thank you for your help!

It was the service books. I had to call VZ to get it corrected. My BIS setup was a little messed up and the rep was able to correct it in just a few seconds.

After they reset everything, because I wasn't able to login to BIS, the messages started flowing.
