Default Opera Mini Ennoying Problem

Please Login to Remove!

Okay I searched the forums, and google, and its simple, or at least it must be, but...... I need to find a way how to just simply open the opera mini browser and not have a pop up about whether to connect or not. Anybody know how to take this off because it happens on my girlfriends curve too....

Nope, now my internet is slow on the opera mini. I enabled everything, allowed everything, and my firewall, was already disabled.

Dump Opera Mini and go back to the BB Browser. I have compared them on several occasions and the is no particular advantage to Opera Mini. The STorm default browser has three different modes (BB, IE, and FIrefox) Try playing with them. Personally, I find the BB mode works best for me.

Remember that speed is also a function of signal strength. If you realy want to see whats happening, from a fixed (not moving) location, go to the same website on the BB Browser and Opera right after.

My comments also apply to Minuet (another BB compatible browser). 73

PS: Disabling your firewall is not a great plan. 73

Opera may offer advantages in the future for the Storm, as it has for BBs like the 8830. Right now, Opera does work in portrait and landscape, but it is not correctly interpreting links in web pages, etc. Soon, soon it may get better ! Do not disable your firewall with anyone unless you are talking directly to Verizon or RIM !
