Default I NEED MAAAJOR HELP PLEASE (Verizon 8703e)

Please Login to Remove!

Okay so I bought a Verizon 8703e phone from some girl on Craigslist.Com.. because I needed a new phone BAD! Anyways, I don't know much about the Blackberry, I just loved the way it looked lol. All she gave me was the actual phone and wall charger, so I'm guessing she stole it from somewhere. I didn't get a manual, cd, or anything. My old phone let me send photos, and music from my e-mail but everytime I try to with the new phone, the actual picture doesn't show up, neither does the sound file. Is there a specic addres I'm supposed to be sending the files to? Because the file I use to use with my old phone was... "XXXXXXXXXX@VZWPIX.COM".. but now it's not working? Anybody know how to help me with this?

Try to send it instead to any email address associated with your blackberry.

wow...
go here:
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw&locale=en
and follow the "create new account" stuff
your PIN (if it asks) can be found in Options/Settings, Status on your (probably not stolen) blackberry...
if the "create new account" wizard fails when you enter the PIN or IMEI, you'll have to call verizon...

fteezy, call VZW and ask if the Data Plan is truly on your account. Sometimes it CAN take up to 24 hours to provision, although 1-2 hours is more than most take.

Taking the battery out replacing (remove while the BB is powered ON) is one way for the service books to provision.

you can load images/sounds with the desktop manager for windows: BlackBerry - BlackBerry - Sys Req V4-2 Pack 2

thats the same software the would have been on the CD.

typically if i find a pic somewhere i just email it to myself as was suggested above and then save it to the pictures folder.

while you are at it you can upgrade to the 4.2.2.x OS software for your device. see the sticky at top of this forums for more info. several pages of reading there. did the upgrade myself this weekend and its been an improvement overall.
