Default MissingSync not preserving multiple calendars

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Pearl 8220 and OS X 10.4.11. I am using a trial version of Missing Sync (1.0.3).

I have 4 calendars in iCal. I also have 2 calendars on my device, which I believe were created automatically when I setup 2 email accounts on the device.

When I do a Mac overwrite sync, all of my iCal calendars get merged into 1 of the calendars on the device. Shouldn't MissingSync create 4 new calendars on the device which correspond the ones in iCal?

1) Is there a way to get the Calendars to map 1:1 between iCal and the Bberry?
2) I would also like to delete the 2 cals on the device as they are superfluous.

This is a complete show stopper because the next time I sync, all 4 iCal events will get dumped into 1 of my iCal calendars.

any ideas?

As of right now you are only able to sync the default calendar on the BB. And all email addresses are associated with a calendar.

will only happen if you edit the event on the BlackBerry. Then Missing Sync will sync that event to the calendar you have selected in the calendar plugin field "Put events created on device into".

Otherwise the next sync won't change the category of the event on the Mac, if it has not been edited on the BlackBerry.

that is because MissingSync is a terrible piece of software. It won't sync tasks or contacts properly. I get duplicates, errors, etc. and for what? I have asked repeatedly for my money back with no replies.
I hate PC's but BB works perfectly with them.

Its not the fault of Missing Sync, but on the part of RIM. There are NO programs that will allow you to sync anything other then the default calendar on the BB. Multiple calendars were introduced in 4.3 and now we are seeing 4.6 and 4.7 and still this is an issue. Sometimes you wonder what the hell the software people at RIM are doing.

It's ridiculous that Blackberry still haven't figured this out. What's the point of having multiple calendars if you then can't synch them?? I discovered this by accident when it seemed several of my meetings were missing.

I have a PC and a Curve 8320 and just upgraded to the BB OS 4.5. I liked the idea of using two calendars as to separate by business meetings from my other ones. But if I can't synch all of them I will need to go back to using only the one that does synch. And the workaround offered on Mark/Space was no help.
