Default Notes encryption

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

We actually have some problems with the implementation of Notes encrypted mail on our BlackBerry environment.

Situation:
BES is in Belgium, polling mailboxes in about 15 countries.
In Poland, encryption is enabled for most mails, so they need to be able to read those mail on BB as well. We replicate an extended directory catalog from their environment on our BES. Cross certification and connection document is ok.

After activation and importing the Notes-id file of the user, we actually see that some mails are encrypted (little key icon on top of the envelop before the mail) and if we try to open the mail, the device asks for the id-file of the user. After that, he does a "more all", but after a while, the device says "general failure - more".

The logs show:
[10000] (07/16 15:33:53.982):{0x1FF8} {*****.pl} Error formatting More Result for device, or not enough data to send
[40080] (07/16 15:33:53.982):{0x1FF8} SendMessageErrorStatusToDevice Sending message error to device for RID=-462443762, size=45, TransactionId=-2058944511, TID=8311561

Anyone has an idea on how solving this one ?

Thanks in advance.

Peter

Have you checked the pre-requisites?

Default No luck...

Thx for the reply.

I had already checked those requirements, although I hadn't seen the registry setting. Still, it was ok.

Any other suggestions ?

Peter
