Default Using Blackberry Protect to protect corporate devices?

Please Login to Remove!

So I love the fact BB Protect is free on the app world, from an admin standpoint is there a way I can create a single app-world sign-on that I can use for say all of the devices to install that app and manage them all under one place?

Previously I'd set it up with individual users app world accounts (my uses never download apps, very non-technical users who use email/phone), and installed that, but thinking about doing this for 400+ users would be a bit of a pain...

We're going to be doing a device refresh which means I can take a moment and touch each device if necessary to install the app..but when I login to another BB with the appworld ID it tells me it wants to reassociate it with that device.

Protect does not work on BES enabled devices.

each user needs a BB ID

Better off using BES express for free which will backup most settings and allow you to manage them.

I didn't see that it wouldn't work on the BES devices. I'm really not looking for the lockout/reset/etc functionality since I can do that with the BES anyway, I want to be able to see where my device is when it's lost/etc via that tracking feature..that's kinda cool and big-brotherish

I loaded it and I can't see it in my portal on the site, that might explain why since this one is tied to my BES account.

BES already backs up the device and is secured via encryption to your BES, hence why it wont work.

Still 4.1.6.55 on Domino 6.5.6..we're migrating to Office 365/Exchange in the cloud, which has a hosted BES/activesync option that we're looking at, which is kind of why I wanted to look at the BB Protect...

Can you do location awareness on 4?
