Hi,

Quick one for you. My flashing red message LED appears to be unreliable?? One of two things is happening, either:

1) The LED does not always flash red when a message is received.
2) The LED flashes red for as time but then switches off.

What I am seeing is that when I come down in the morning my phone is not showing a flashing red LED but I have received new messages. However, during the day, when I receive a message it always displays the flashing red LED. I do not believe that the LED performs differently at night so can only assume it turns off after a set period.

Can anyone enlighten me and explain this??

Hello,

This is normal. The LED will alert for a specific amount of time and will cease to conserve battery. I think it continues flashing for like 8 minutes (just a guess). If this is a must have for you then look into a 3rd party app call BBAlerts.
