Unhappy Pearl 9105 3G Big Problems...help?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Just bought a brand new BB Pearl 9105 3G.
Now i put my SIM in and looks fine as i have reception and it displays my service provider etc.. however i make a call and immediately after i press the call button i got the message "call failed" and when i have incoming calls it goes straight to voice mail, and texting is also not working as it fails to send or receive...
any suggestions?

Notes:
Using t-mobile/orange
on GPRS
already tried wiping and restoring
battery pulling and turning off n on and also using other sims but the same issues occur.

Thanks in advance.

Has it been properly activated by the carrier?

Are you in an area with good signal coverage?

Is it a new sim card, or one you already had?
New sim cards often need you to call the carrier to activate it, as they don't come activate so if it was stolen someone could use it on your account.

Your handset sounds blacklisted to me. Basically, it has been reported lost or stolen and the IMEI has been barred from UK networks.
