Exclamation Reload Software: 507

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

Just last night I got the white screen with the reload software: 507 error. I was downloading some new apps my phone just crashed, so I tried to reload the software and all that. When at the loader app, the "waiting to initiate device" step, my phone turns on but with the error and the loader doesn't recognize my phone and asks me if I want to retry or cancel everything.

I have tried a bunch of methods out there on the other forums, but they didn't work. Please help!?

Yes, I have tried that, but once I get to the app loader's "waiting to initiate device" my goes turns on to the 507 screen and stays like that and the app loader doesn't recognize the phone and wants me to retry or cancel. what should I do?

Did you try the "loader /nojvm" option?

I have tried that again and again. It loads the JVM and system software fine, but it gets stuck on the "wait for device initialization". That's when my phone turns on with the little clock and goes to the "reload software: 507" screen. After a while the application loader comes up with a Connection Prompt window saying: Application Loader was unable to connect with your device. Please re-connect your device, enter your password, if required, and click Retry.

I fix it. Here's how: I downgraded DM 5.0 to 4.7 and installed the software into my bb. It worked haha I am amazed it did!

Thanks!
