Default Exchange Synchronization Problem

Please Login to Remove!

One of our users is have a problem Synchronizing Exchange with blackberry. Strangely, Sent items Synchronize but new items in the inbox do not appear on the device.

The device has Network connectivity, makes calls and is otherwise functioning normally.

User does not have rules setup in Outlook that would move emails from the Inbox into another folder (like a PST).

Only items older than 1 month are Archived (so this is also not the cause).

This is the second time this has happened to this user. the first time after doing a factory reset of the device and doing the Exchange Activation it began working again. Then after about 1 month the problem started again.

ATT had no idea about this problem and our Exchange server admin has been unable to see any problems with the user's account.

Is the Inbox folder still set up for Redirection to the Handheld?

Messages > Options > Email Settings > click trackball > Folder Redirection

Default Problem with synchronizing Blackberry Pearl

I have started a new job and the boss has asked me to synchronize his Blackberry Pearl 8100. I have followed guidelines in manual and on line but the problem is;
I click on Blackberry Desktop Manager;
Then click Synchronize;
I cannot click Synchronize now button;
so I went to Configurations and tried to click on configure synch but it will not allow me to click on this either.
The Blackberry is connected and everything else seems to be in order; can anyone help me?

^^^ You're talking to the wrong people - we don't use Desktop Manager to admin our BBs.

If your Blackberry is wired up to the Desktop Manager, you need to make sure you have the wireless synchronization turned off on the handheld. Check out Blackberry.com/btsc and type in KB03315...should solve your problem.
