Every now and tehn (I've had my BB for three weeks) I get a small telephone icon (it's yellow) directly above the network identifier (GPRS) ...

I have no idea why it shows up or what it is trying to tell me.

Help?

These things vary from theme-to-theme, or model-to-model, but my guess is a missed call.

yep, aparently that was it .... the software seemed to have missed that I actually opebned that missed call ... I went back, marked it unopened (which produced the missed message envelope icon), marked it closed ... and the phone icon went away as did the missed message envelope .... weird. thanks for the help though!

I was very close to sending my other bberry back no nextel as they couldn't fix it...but since then I've replaced my bberry and now the phone icon is back...It really annoys me, I guess its yet another OCD...I've checked the missed calls log, etc and the icon won't go away...
