Default BB App World Not Working :(

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

i recently reset my blackberry and recovered data with the new blackberry protect service, however ive installed app world and whenever i login i get the error 'An error has occured, please try again later' It's been like this for 2 days,
ive done a battery pull, reinstalled app world and the HRT registeration thing.

All other things like msn and facebook (that ive downloaded via the browser) work and obviously my browser is working.

Suggestions anyone

Sounds like a general App World problem on RIM's side of things. Two days is a long time for this, but if a battery pull didn't set it right then maybe updating your profile will help. Manage Connections > Mobile Network Options and use the Menu key to select Update Profile.

Ah, that might be a CDMA thing as I'm on Sprint. Perhaps resending your service books would help?

How do I do that :s

Edit: found that out via my best friend called google anyway would this have any effect on my blackberry services

Ah ive found a small problem, as im registering for BIS i get the message 'Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your device to access BlackBerry Internet Service' so i do what it says and go on it via my browser and then i get this error 'Your device is not registered. Please register your device and try again. (then below it tells me to register via HRT) so i did it, went back on it on my phone again and it still says the same thing!!!

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan or bolt-on for your account? Not a carrier data plan, but one that specifically says "BlackBerry"?

Text and Web doesn't sound like it includes BlackBerry data like App World. No push email, no BBM, etc. That might be your problem right there.

its been working fine for 6 months untill a few days ago my bbm and all other applications are currently working just bb app world that isnt

Ah, that's a horse of a different color. Time to ring up o2 and see if they've borked your account provisioning.
Also, if they have a monthly cap on your data usage and you reach that cap, they may be throttling your data speed or cutting you off completely. Even a super-slow connection can cause your App World connection to fail.

my monthly allowance is fine ive still got 499.7 MB left but i will check now, what couldve been a reason for it to be borked
