Default External Speakers/Headset will not play Music

Please Login to Remove!

Suddenly I found I was no longer able to play music through any external speaker or headset on my BB Torch. No one seems to be able to solve problem. BB Replaced but same problem. Complete factory reset solves problem but as soon as anything is restored, problem returns. Interestingly, if I make a call the headset works fine. If I play music, go to menu and try to 'activate headset' I get new window with headset and red dot on it. Coupled with this problem I notice if I go to 'set-up' and select 'email accounts' it will not open. I have had to activate all my accounts via my laptop. Anyone any ideas!

The clue is a reset solves the problem until you reload from a restore. You have an app thats either causing this or is corrupted.

Do not reload the apps. Test by loading one at a time

Thanks for that. However, I don't have any new apps. The only new ones are those which Blackberry seem to force onto us and I do not seem to be able to delete such as 360 Shop, Poynt, and Social Feeds. I have assigned these to a Misc folder because I don't use them.
I don't have the problem if I transfer everything to my daughters old BB Curve. In fact I think I rather prefer it to the Torch despite the smaller screen.

the only thing I can suggest is to try to delete Poynt. I had some wierd issues with it and resolved them with it's removal.
